2026 Color of the Month Club by Gnome River Yarns

Join the Color of the Month Club from Gnome River and bring vibrant creativity to your projects! Each month, you can receive an exclusive, hand-dyed skein inspired by seasonal hues, whimsical themes, and the enchanting world of Gnome River.

What will I receive?
You will receive a unique, 100 gram skein of hand-dyed yarn from Gnome River Yarns, dyed at our studio here in Charlotte, MI. You'll have your choice of yarn base: either our fingering weight base called Gnome's Feet or our dk weight base, called Clever Gnome. Please note that whatever weight you choose will be the base you receive for the duration you choose (for example, if you sign up as annual member and choose "Gnome's Feet (fingering)" as your base option, you'll receive Gnome's Feet for all 12 months.

When will I receive it?
Your yarn will be ready to pick up or ship by the 1st of each month, when ordered by the 15th of the previous month.

Our Deadlines: All orders for future months will be turned off by the 15th of the month leading up to it. For example, if you want to be guaranteed February's club yarn, you will need to place your order by January 15th.

Important Shipping Info
For those of you that are not local to our shop and/or want your color of the month shipped:
#1 - Make certain you are picking the "Ship" delivery method on the first drop down menu. The cost of shipping is included in the price, regardless of the duration you choose. If you'd like to receive more than one skein per month, please choose the "Pick Up" delivery method for any additional skeins of the same color. For example, if you want 4 skeins of January's COTM shipped, pick the "Ship" delivery method first, with a quantity of 1. Then choose the "Pick Up" delivery method, with the remaining quantity of 3. This will ensure that you only incur the shipping fee once and we will ship the entire order together.
#2 - Add your shipping address in the box provided, then choose local pick up when you check out. Your order will still get shipped and you will not be charged an additional shipping fee this way (a little cumbersome, I know; but this is the current easiest way our system would allow for us and our customer).

Returns are subject to a record of sale, either by the original customer providing a receipt or the original customer’s account history.

Option 1:

90-day return on yarn ONLY for store credit based on current store selling price. – minus shipping charges when applicable, and - minus a 5% credit card processing fee when applicable. (Yarn must be in original manufactures condition)

Option 2:

30-day return on yarn ONLY for a cash refund based on current store selling price – minus a 20% restock fee and – minus shipping charges when applicable. (Yarn must be in original manufactures condition) Cash returns may be in the form of cash, check, credit card, or PayPal at the owner’s discretion.

No returns

We do not accept returns on trunk shows, limited edition kits, club yarns, or non-yarn related products, such as needles, notions, bags, patterns, digital downloads, gift cards, books, shawl pins, jewelry, tools, etc., or any items sold on sale or at a discounted price.

Yarn purchased more than 90 days prior to the current date.

Yarn that is no longer in original manufactures condition

Yarn that is currently obsolete

Any Item that was special ordered

No returns are accepted without proof or record of purchase. No returns on behalf of someone else.

Any other returns are at the discretion of the owner.

Class or Special Event Fees

If Yarn Garden cancels or reschedules a class or event for any reason a cash refund or store/class credit will be issued (This will be determined on a per customer basis)

If a customer/student/participant cancels or does not show up to a class or event for any reason within 3 days leading up to the scheduled event time; No store/ class credit will be issued. If the cancellation occurs more than 3 days or more prior to the class or event; store/class credit will be issued.
