Thank you!

We're turning 15 next Wednesday, April 13th and we are celebrating with a party! We will debut six new colors from Gnome River Yarns, launch a new design from the Head Gardener, and share other fabulous things from our favorites in store. Bring your current project (or plan to buy a new one!!) and join us for social stitching from 1:00pm - ?? in the 131 Event Space (above YG).
Did you know that we now have our own yarn dyeing company? I started experimenting with the art medium last year and Gnome River Yarns (named after the river in our cash register counter!) was launched in February! I'm focused right now on supplying YOU with fabulous tonal / semi-solid colors. These colors work well with many of the other indie dyed yarn in the store and are perfect for patterns with more intricate stitch patterns. Currently, our Gnome River Yarns color palette is available on three bases. Grumpy Gnome is a 100% extrafine merino wool, with 436 yards per 100 gram hank; Gnome's Feet is a 100% superwash merino wool, with 400 yarns per 100 gram hank; and finally, Gnomelets are superwash wool/nylon mini skeins, with 92 yards per 20 gram hank.
Where can I find Gnome River Yarns? In our store, of course! Yarn Garden, 131 S. Cochran Ave in Charlotte, MI! On our website: https://www.yarngardenmichigan.com/shop/Gnome-River-Yarns.htm Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/gnomeriveryarns Instagram: @gnomeriveryarns
Anniversaries are always a great time for reflection and looking back. I am so proud of my community of customers, and so thankful that so many of YOU appreciate and support our lives here. In the last few years, we've grown by leaps and bounds! Jason joined me here in the Garden, which has allowed us to reach even more of you with his work on the website and stellar shipping and inventory management skills. We expanded our physical location with the addition of the 131 Event Space above our shop. This space is serving not only OUR customers as a classroom/workshop space, but the surrounding community as a small event venue as well. And of course, I've been able to act on my dream of becoming a maker and supplier of yarn. So thank YOU for being awesome and we look forward to serving you for many more years!
Your Head Gardeners, Lindsay & Jason Potter
