Head Gardener's Log, May 24th
|
Think ahead to the gift giving season! Hats make a GREAT gift for almost everyone on your list, and this cozy hat only takes ONE BALL of Air by Wool Addicts. Air is a bulky wool and nylon blend that has a super soft, almost velvet-like texture. All four of us are wearing the same size, the large adult, in color #1001-67. Very slouchy on the kiddos, less so on Jason and I!
Get a headstart on your holiday knitting!
Originally $14.95, now just $10 A BALL.
PLUS we will include a printed copy of the pattern for FREE!
Add a Furreal Pom and you've got a gift for just a bit over $20.
Match up your favorite Furreal Pom here:

I will be sharing yarn options in YG's Facebook Group, called Friends of the Yarn Garden. Make sure you request to join so you can view the video, which will be live on Monday, May 24th (TONIGHT!!) at 7:00pm (join me live OR watch the replay). Find the group here:

What's On My Needles
The Coral Sunrise Shawl (aka the purple demon) has been sucking up all my knitting time! This is the current KAL project that I am hosting and I admittedly set our goals WAY too high! Other than the pressure to finish it within my self-imposed deadline, it has been an enjoyable knit. The psychology of casting on a large number of stitches and decreasing, with each row getting shorter, is a nice change! Beyond that, I whipped out that Bulky Waffle hat above in just a couple nights. I'm looking forward to casting on a poncho for the KAL and squeezing in a new summer tee as well. What's been on your needles (or hook)?
