Events happening in April!
So much is happening this month! I'm excited to share with you all the ways we're planning to connect with you, both virtually and in-person. We are kicking off a new KAL, celebrating LYS Day AND I'm hosting a virtual trunk show. Read on to see details and links to all the happenings!
Announcing the OFFICIAL start of our next KAL! We will be knitting the Coral Sunrise Shawl from the current Noro Magazine, Volume 18. Our cast on party is set to begin on Wednesday evening, April 21st via Zoom! There is no cost beyond the purchase of your materials to join the KAL. We appreciate your support in this way so that we can continue to offer these group KALs for free!
The KAL will be virtual, via our own special Facebook group, with Zoom meetings once a week. I will be going live in our Friends of the Yarn Garden group THIS Wednesday evening at 7 pm to discuss yarn options and answer any additional questions you may have.
Already purchased yarn for the shawl? Search for the new Facebook group "YG's Coral Sunrise Shawl KAL" and ask to join. Once I verify your yarn purchase, you will be added to the group. Thank you! LYS Day at YG!Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 17th as we celebrate Local Yarn Store Day. We will be celebrating in-store AND virtually, with limited edition yarn and kits from our vendors, free gifts, and more to come! Be sure to mark "going" on the Facebook event so you can see the sneaky peeks of what we're cooking up for you that day!Find the Facebook event here:https://fb.me/e/1ckyHc06n Get a yarn tasting experience in a box, with samples of six yarns from Berroco's Spring/Summer products. Your pretty box will contain a tasting menu, enough yarn of each type for a swatch, pattern ideas for all yarns, plus a few extra goodies! Those extra goodies will come in handy during our virtual yarn tasting on Thursday, April 29th, where we will meet via Zoom to experience the yarns together. Curl up on your couch in your jammies and join Lindsay to learn all about the different yarns without needing to leave your house! The cost for the event is $35 and includes your yarn tasting box (samples of six different yarns, materials to support the yarns, and a selection of goodies) and your virtual experience via Zoom. You will receive your Zoom instructions via email on the day of the meeting. When the boxes are ready, we will reach out to verify your shipping address (shipping is included in the cost of the event).
