Make It Monday!
This stunning wrap is light as a feather, worked in Juniper Moon Farm's newest angora blend, Beatrix. While the colorwork looks impressive, creating it is as easy as slipping stitches. The technique is called mosaic knitting, with only one color used per row. The shawl pictured below uses #7 Onyx and #5 Marble for stark contrast. It would look equally lovely in less contrasting colors, such as #10 Aqua and #8 Lapis.

Pattern: Alisa Wrap by Claudia Wersing* Yarn: 3 balls of Beatrix, #7 Onyx 3 balls of Beatrix, #5 Marble Needles Required: US 15 needles (a 24" or longer circular)

New from Manos del Uruguay!
This gorgeous yarn is going to make some AMAZING projects. The wool and alpaca fibers make a squishy, bouncy yarn with lots of body and a soft hand. The blend of several different colors of wool and alpaca create the three heathered bases: Toast, Beige and Grey. These three colors come in a 100 gram hank. The yarn also comes in 50 gram skeins, hand dyed in beautiful tonal colors that are perfect for colorwork.

What's on my Needles
I am ready to join my sleeves to the body of my Spark Cardi! I'll be doing that live with my KAL group during our weekly Zoom meeting later this week. I'm getting closer to the steeking and I'm so excited. It's been great to have this group for the accountability and the different points of view from all the different members.
Also pictured is the progress on my pocket wrap. I have the pattern written and am ready to find some testers to try it out for me. I'm also in need of another test/sample knitter to knit one for the shop in a different yarn. If you're interested, please message YG on Facebook!
