Make It Monday!
Beatrix is a fluffy new yarn from Juniper Moon Farm. This soft, bulky yarn is an angora, merino wool and nylon blend. It's a cool construction - the nylon is a tube that the extrafine merino and angora fiber is blown into. It makes a super light yarn, even at a bulky gauge. Your finished projects will be lighter than a cloud! Watch the video debut over on YG's Facebook Page HERE.
I couldn't resist the fluff of this yarn (it IS named after the author of Peter Rabbit) so I cast on this hat on Saturday and finished it up on Sunday! It's called the Unbreakable Vow Toque by Jenny Noto (find the pattern on Ravelry by clicking HERE). The resulting fabric is so squishy and soft, I would love to knit a huge cowl or scarf to wrap myself up in come winter. Create your own hat with these ideas for matching yarn with a pom or dream up your own combo!

This is my finished Unbreakable Vow Toque. Combine luscious yarn, a fluffy pom AND a pattern inspired by the Harry Potter Universe? YES PLEASE! I hope it inspires you to grab a few skeins and make some great gifts. I think Mr. Potter will be getting a hat knit out of it... he's been dropping some not-so-subtle hints about it, and a bulky hat is a heckuva lot faster than socks! Shhhhh... don't tell!
