Nomadic Knits, Issue 7: Michigan PREORDER

As a Michigander, I know how beautifully rich our state is, both with the amazing natural resources and beauty AND the talent of our local fiber industry. That's why I am always SO EXCITED when our state is featured by the larger fiber community! This issue of Nomadic Knits is the largest ever, rich with knitting patterns featuring the talents of many local indie dyers (including many of our favorites!), as well as images from around our great state. The knitting patterns include a hat, socks, shawls, and sweaters, and range from fingering weight to worsted and from beginner to advanced. Fall in love with Michigan from the comfort of your home; explore the region with us as you turn the pages, meet the local indie dyers, and pick a new project to cast on.

Jason has been working hard to get many of our yarns listed on our website at www.yarngardenmichigan.com. Meet ReVerb, an ecologically friendly yarn from Cascade Yarns. ReVerb is a blend of 70% recycled polyester/PET and 30% recycled alpaca fibers; the pairing creates a combination of warmth, softness and durability. If you're interested in seeing how PET is made from plastic water bottles, check out the link in the product page. There's a great video that shows the process!

What's on my Needles
I am powering my way through an adorable tank from the summer issue of Pom Pom Magazine, called Sunwake by Wencke Pertermann. I'm using a fun cotton tape yarn from Gedifra called Arborea. The yarn is dyed using all natural plant dyes and I am LOVING the dark olive green I'm using. I hope to wrap it up this week so I can cast on my SPARK Cardigan by Andrea Mowry. I'm so excited to knit a colorwork sweater and STEEK IT!!

Returns are subject to a record of sale, either by the original customer providing a receipt or the original customer’s account history.

Yarn

Option 1:

90-day return on yarn ONLY for store credit based on current store selling price. – minus shipping charges when applicable, and - minus a 5% credit card processing fee when applicable. (Yarn must be in original manufactures condition)

Option 2:

30-day return on yarn ONLY for a cash refund based on current store selling price – minus a 20% restock fee and – minus shipping charges when applicable. (Yarn must be in original manufactures condition) Cash returns may be in the form of cash, check, credit card, or PayPal at the owner’s discretion.

No returns

We do not accept returns on trunk shows, limited edition kits, club yarns, or non-yarn related products, such as needles, notions, bags, patterns, digital downloads, gift cards, books, shawl pins, jewelry, tools, etc., or any items sold on sale or at a discounted price.

Yarn purchased more than 90 days prior to the current date.

Yarn that is no longer in original manufactures condition

Yarn that is currently obsolete

Any Item that was special ordered

No returns are accepted without proof or record of purchase. No returns on behalf of someone else.

Any other returns are at the discretion of the owner.

Class or Special Event Fees

If Yarn Garden cancels or reschedules a class or event for any reason a cash refund or store/class credit will be issued (This will be determined on a per customer basis)

If a customer/student/participant cancels or does not show up to a class or event for any reason within 3 days leading up to the scheduled event time; No store/ class credit will be issued. If the cancellation occurs more than 3 days or more prior to the class or event; store/class credit will be issued.
