Emma's Yarn will be at YG!
YG will be featuring yarns from this very talented young artist, starting with an opportunity to meet Emma and her sister, Aspen, at a meet and greet on Tuesday afternoon, June 25th! From 12 - 2, you're invited to peruse the lovely yarns and rub elbows with the dyer herself!
If you haven't heard of Emma's Yarn, read on for a description from their website, www.emmasyarn.com...
"Emma’s Yarn was started by Emma, a then 15 year-old homeschooled student who was simply completing a math lesson when she fell in love with dyeing yarn. It all started when she dyed a small batch of yarn for fun when learning about ratios in her math class.
From then on, she just couldn’t get enough! Emma now divides her time between being a dedicated high school student, a beautiful dancer, and an amazing indie dyer. Emma’s sister, Aspen, has just graduated from college with a degree in Anthropology and has joined her sister in dyeing and developing Emma’s Yarn full time.
With a family of knitters and weavers with entrepreneurial minds and a passion for color, Emma’s Yarn quickly went from a creative school lesson to a family-run, lots of fun dye studio located in Winter Haven, Florida."

Season 5 is right around the corner!
Seed Club is YG’s monthly yarn club, with Season 5 starting in August and running for nine months. Every month I curate a Seed Packet containing a unique skein of yarn, pattern instructions, and a little something extra, along with several additional pattern ideas. This season I have invited nine dyers to be inspired by the theme of “foliage”. A plant's foliage is a magical place. This is a place where plants synthesize their own energy source from sunlight, then release an element necessary for life on this planet, oxygen. It is this beautiful process that we honor in Season 5 of Seed Club.
