A Year In The Garden
If you follow any of YG's social media channels (The Yarn Garden on FB and @yarngardenmi on IG), over the holiday weekend you got to watch the release of a brand new collaboration between AJHC Wools and YG. We worked together to create a knitted version of a garden's life cycle through all the seasons, with AJ capturing each season in a new colorway, and myself creating the design to carry us along the journey.
Preorders are now open through June 4th, with a KAL (both virtual and in person at YG) beginning in July. There are two options for ordering your kit: if you're local to Yarn Garden and plan to pick it up, you can order via the link on YG's homepage (https://www.yarngardenmichigan.com/) or order in-store. If you're not local and need to have your kit shipped, please order through AJHC Wool's website (www.ajhcwools.com).

A Summer Tea with MMD and YG Join YG in celebrating MidMitten Design's third anniversary. We are both so grateful for your support... we love collaborating on projects together and we're so glad that you enjoy the end results!
The tea is a kick-off to a week-long trunk show featuring Midmitten Design's newest project bag style, the Sassy Sack. The bag features a sturdy canvas base and a snarky saying that is sure to make you giggle. Come early to pick your favorite!

What's On My Needles
Quite honestly, not much right now. I worked really hard on the Year in the Garden shawl, and my hands are definitely feeling it. I know that I need to rest my hands, but dang, it's hard. So instead of using my normal method to knit, I switched hands and am knitting Continental style. Of course, that meant that I had to cast on for a squishy, soft cowl, since one should not mix knitting styles in one project ;) Oh, darn.
