Why Knot Fibers Header

Kick off your March surrounded by beautiful yarn, dyed by Why Knot Fibers in Northern Michigan, delicious cheesecake made by Charlotte's own KorrieLinn's Cheesecake, and some locally sourced adult beverages!  Click on the link below to see more details, and if you're a Facebook user, please like and share the event with your friends.  Thank you!

Trunk Show with Why Knot Fibers!

Kat and Claire of Why Knot Fibers will be under the Pergola for a full-day trunk show on Saturday, March 2nd.  The fiber that Kat and Claire source for their gorgeous palette of saturated, tonal colors is a feast for all your senses. The varying textures of the different bases are an exciting adventure through the zoo of fiber creatures, the colors themselves are so full of depth that you can't see the bottom, and their love for their art is palpable in every skein.

Friday Feature!

This week's feature is spotlighting a brand new yarn to the Garden, that I plan to make a staple here in the shop.  This is Germantown, a workhorse worsted weight wool from Kelbourne Woolens.  The wool used to create this fantastic yarn is 100% North American wool and it is produced here in the US. For a more in-depth look at this awesome yarn, check out the blog entry from Kelbourne Woolens by clicking on the picture below.

If you're interested in watching me talk about it, you can watch my review of it on YG's Facebook page.  I did a live video this morning, complete with lots of clapping and silliness!  And if you're interested in purchasing a skein or two of this lovely yarn, you can find all the colors at the link below... and don't forget, local pick up IS shipping option, if you want to guarantee your color choice!
