ML: Magic Loop
Magic Loop!
The Magic Loop technique can be used for any small circumference knitting. Things like socks, mittens, hats, even sweater sleeves can be knit using this technique, rather than double points or knitting the object flat and seaming it. In this particular class, you'll be casting on and practicing the technique while making a baby hat (pattern included!).
Materials:
DK weight yarn, 50 grams (preferably in a light color; it's easier to see!)
US 6, 40" circular needles

Skill Details:
Beginner Plus - great for a second or third project!
Requirements:
You should be comfortable with casting on, creating the knit stitch, and working in the round. The technique you'll be learning in this class is how to create small circumferences in the round, so we will not spend much time on how to work ribbing and how to work the decreases at the crown (both options in the included pattern).
