Brioche Basics, Part 2
Description: Further your brioche skills in this class. In the first session, we will practice making 2 color brioche fabric, knitted in the round and. In the second session, you'll explore the basics behind increasing, decreasing, and reading a brioche chart. During this class, you'll be creating a cowl.
Supplies
-2 contrasting colors of dk weight wool or wool blend (I recommend Clever Gnome by Gnome River Yarns)
-US 6 needles; 16" - 20" circular
-Stitch Markers (7 total; 1 unique for BOR)
-Skreppa (pattern by Jennifer Shiels Toland; $5.50 on Ravelry; we can purchase/print for you)
Please note: This class will be held upstairs in the Gnome River Dye Studio (formerly 131 Event Space). The Dye Studio is only accessible by stairs and is not handicap accessible at this time.

Skill Details: | comfortable with basic knit/purl stitches and increasing/decreasing; follows pattern instructions. |
Requirements: | To be successful in this class, student should be able to make brioche fabric knitted flat, preferably after taking Brioche Basics, Part 1. |
