DYOST1: Summer Tee Day Camp

By the end of this class, you'll go home with YOUR OWN pattern for a boxy, short-sleeved tee, simply constructed out of two rectangles. You will swatch to find your stitch gauge, play with different stitch patterns, and decide how you want your tee to fit. Using the template provided, you'll perform some knitting math/magic to come up with your unique set of stitch counts for your tee and hopefully have time to cast on!

The yarn options here are truly endless... I would encourage the use of a plant-fiber-based, dk weight yarn, but it certainly doesn't need to be! I'm estimating somewhere between 500 - 1000 yards, depending on finished size. We will be calculating a rough estimate with our swatch during class. You can choose a yarn from the following list below (if you're interested in something different, reach out to me and let's chat!):

Plan to bring needles from a US 6 - 10 (if you don't have all the needles in that range, I'll have some available for swatching). An interchangeable set is invaluable at a time like this!

30-day return on yarn ONLY for a cash refund based on current store selling price – minus a 20% restock fee and – minus shipping charges when applicable. (Yarn must be in original manufactures condition) Cash returns may be in the form of cash, check, credit card, or PayPal at the owner’s discretion.

No returns

We do not accept returns on trunk shows, limited edition kits, club yarns, or non-yarn related products, such as needles, notions, bags, patterns, digital downloads, gift cards, books, shawl pins, jewelry, tools, etc., or any items sold on sale or at a discounted price.

Yarn purchased more than 90 days prior to the current date.

Class or Special Event Fees

If Yarn Garden cancels or reschedules a class or event for any reason a cash refund or store/class credit will be issued (This will be determined on a per customer basis)

If a customer/student/participant cancels or does not show up to a class or event for any reason within 3 days leading up to the scheduled event time; No store/ class credit will be issued. If the cancellation occurs more than 3 days or more prior to the class or event; store/class credit will be issued.
